opportunity to more intensively focus on his second passion of theatre and music. After already being honoured with the Tourism Award of the German Land of Rhineland-Palatinate for his musical "Loreley", he worked in close cooperation with the musical company STELLA before becoming the developer responsible for the construction of the CAPITOL musical theatre in Düsseldorf in 1995. Another show theatre, the EFENDY Theatre in Istanbul, was constructed according to his plans at the beginning of the new millennium.

At this point in time, Lothar Neuse had already been working with his wife Ellen in the theatre's creative team for several years. While Lothar had spent the early years of his professional life fully dedicated to the field of journalism, Ellen completed a degree in Marketing and spent many years working as the Assistant to the Management Board responsible for the trade fair organisation activities of the international fashion fair company IGEDO. In the 1990s, Ellen managed the Press and Sales department of the CAPITOL music theatre in Düsseldorf before going on to be responsible for the entire design of the EFENDY Theatre in Istanbul.

Once a journalist, always a journalist: Ellen and Lothar Neuse worked together in cooperation with the Greek Ministry of Tourism to design and publish the first ever travel magazine for Northern Greece, which featured stories focusing on the monastic state of Mount Athos.

When not travelling, Ellen and Lothar spend time at their homes on the holiday island of Majorca in Spain, at the foot of Mount Athos in Greece and in Düsseldorf, the capital city of the German Land of North Rhine-Westphalia, where they have now been running one of the most successful event locations in Germany, the "THEATER DER TRÄUME" ('Theatre of Dreams'), for many years ▉
Lothar Neuse started researching new holiday resorts ranging from Jamaica right through to Mexico on behalf of the tour operator "Meiers Weltreisen" at an early age. He went on to complete his vocational training as a journalist in the office of the German Press Agency (dpa) in the German city of Cologne.

He then worked as a freelancer for the "Kölnische Rundschau" and "Nürnberger Nachrichten" newspapers and the television and radio broadcaster WDR before spending several years writing for the local society column of the "EXPRESS" newspaper in the German city of Düsseldorf and the international society column of the publication "STYLE-MAGAZIN".

One of the main focuses of his work at the time was writing reports on the dream world of "Hollywood" and the Cannes International Film Festival. In special recognition of his commitment to his work, he was presented with the "Bronze Halo Award" by the "Southern California Motion Picture Council" at the beginning of the 1980s.

At the young age of just 26, Lothar Neuse went into business as the self-employed founder, publisher and Chief Editor of the publication "TOP MAGAZIN". What started out as a regional glossy magazine soon went on to become a business idea with an impact spreading across a variety of different markets. With over 40 regional editions in a franchise system, TOP MAGAZIN is now the undisputed number 1 in the segment of lifestyle magazines with a regional and international character.

As a man driven by constantly new ideas, Lothar Neuse accepted a bid for his publication from one of the largest press corporations in Germany at the beginning  of  the  1990s  and  made the most of the
